NEM Implementation Technical Committee
On 11 Feb 2020, the Energy Commission (ST), Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) and MPIA held the kick-off meeting of the NEM Implementation Technical Committee.
The committee was formed to resolve technical issues that affect the implementation of Net Energy Metering (NEM) scheme, which allows consumers with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on their premises to sell the excess of electricity generated from the solar PV systems to TNB.
The committee is chaired by the ST with SEDA as the secretariat.
