Looking into MPIA’s DCS cyber-security matters

On 10 December 2020, a meeting was held between MPIA and Tenaga Nasional (TNB) pertaining to the cybersecurity matters of the proposed Data Collection System (DCS) as a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) alternative for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with capacity of 1 MW and above to meet the Distribution Code.

Findings and proposed measures to tackle the possible cyber-threats were presented by TNB’s IT specialist.
