On 5 February 2021, MPIA had a two-hour discussion with Bank Negara on financing for research that would contribute to better harvest of solar energy.
MPIA’s honorary member Dr Lim Boon Han presented applications of the research outcome while MPIA President Chin Soo Mau also elaborated the financing issues in the local solar photovoltaic (PV) industry as well as the policy that could propel better adoption of renewable energy in the country.
