On behalf of MPIA, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to TNB-Distribution, TNB-Research, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and Huawei for their invaluable contributions to the recent study conducted in testing labs in both Thailand and Huawei Nuremberg Germany pertaining to the fault current contribution issue associated with solar PV system installations in areas with high fault levels.
We believe that the results from this study have provided both clarity and insights into technological advancements in relation to the fault current contribution by solar PV inverters and to resolve concerns for solar PV installations in distribution networks with existing high fault levels.
Our unwavering commitment to safety and the comprehensive measures we have demonstrated to address technical concerns at the distribution network level are another positive milestone in industry collaboration furthering our common goal of a zero carbon future.
