On 22 April 2024, MPIA organized a most-needed meeting at Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia in Putrajaya with Ts Dr Mohd Zaid Bin Ab Ghani, Assistant Commissioner of Head of Fire Safety Approval, to discuss important rooftop safety guidelines and regulations for Malaysia. The session aimed to promote mutual understanding and collaboration considering recent events, ensuring the improvement of safety standards in rooftop installations across the nation.
