Message by the President

29th April 2025 marks a profound and humbling moment for me — to be entrusted with the leadership of the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA). I stand here, not just as an individual, but as a representative of all of you — the passionate, committed, and forward-thinking champions of Malaysia’s solar and renewable energy future.

First and foremost, I wish to express my deepest gratitude to our Past President Davis Chong the Committee Members, the Secretariat, and the Advisor who has dedicated their energy and expertise to building MPIA into the respected body it is today. Your contributions have set a strong foundation that I am committed to building upon.

As we step into this new chapter, I am reminded that we are at a pivotal moment — both for our industry and for Malaysia. Solar and renewable energy are no longer optional; they are critical pillars of national development, energy security, and environmental stewardship. MPIA’s role has never been more important.

My vision for MPIA is clear:

Above all, my leadership philosophy is simple: this association belongs to its members. Your voices, your ideas, your aspirations will guide our path forward. Together, we will ensure that MPIA is not just responsive but proactive, not just relevant but transformational.

I invite all of you — members, partners, and friends — to walk this journey with me. Let’s ignite new possibilities, embrace challenges with courage, and leave a legacy that we can all be proud of.
